Medical Team

Dr. Joshua Kipsang is a Ugandan doctor in active service who was born and raised in Bukwo District in Eastern Ugandan. His education was exclusively Ugandan from primary school through university. He graduated from in 2018 from Kampala International University with a degree in medicine and surgery.

He has practiced medicine since 2018, working in several hospitals with varying standards: Kiruddu National Referral Hospital, Mulago National Referral Hospital, and St. Kizito Hospital—Matany, Kapchorwa District Hospital, True Vine Medical Center—Hoima and currently Love4Bukwo Hospital.

Dr. Kipsang says, “Love4Bukwo is a unique hospital among them all, as a Christian-based institution which has positively impacted the hospital system and the entire community. The availability of relevant equipment and investigations have made my job enjoyable. We handle all types of cases ranging from pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and OB/GYN.”

Dr. Kipsang especially enjoys OB/GYN and says, “My joy is the cry of a newborn and stability of the mother after bringing new life into the world. On this note, I want to give special thanks to Dr. Mike Nelson (American OB/GYN specialist) who frequently visits for training in this discipline. Lastly, I want to give special thanks to God Almighty, my family, and Dr. Maggie Sabay and Peter Ole-Sabay, Friends of Bukwo Global, and the entire staff of Love4Bukwo Hospital for making my career enjoyable.”
